This Louis XV style fireback was made in the 19th century.
It has a monogram ""LXV"" with a leafy branch which draws an arch. The figure XV is inscribed below.
The monogram is surrounded by asymmetrical ornaments, including a pair of wings and Louis XV style foliage.
