19th century fireback with the theme of "Love the Blacksmith". Its elegant design is inspired by the Louis XV style, featuring a charming blacksmith putto resting, leaning against his hammer, at the heart of the composition. The graceful scrolls, floral crowns and acanthus leaves that surround him seem to come alive in a delicate and harmonious dance.
