This very beautiful cast iron fireback was realized in the 18th century. It is provided with a rare decoration called " to the Chinese ". Indeed, a Chinese man occupies the main part of the composition. He takes place in a frame of Louis XV style, made by volutes and by arabesques calling back the Rococo style. This fireback is cracked in its low part (see photos).
