Antique Louis XIV style fireplace made out of white Carrara marble in the 19th century. This fireplace model, called "Bollection" ("boudin" in French) because of the strong molding which underlines the opening of the hearth, is usually made in a very colorful marble as was customary under Louis XIV, who was an important marble lover.
This fireplace model, made in a white marble, is thus relatively rare.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availabily).
