This beautiful Louis XV style fireplace made of white Carrara marble has a very elaborate sculpted decoration.
The centre of the entablature is decorated with a large shell and a smaller second, inscribed in a cartouche in which large acanthus leaves and bouquets of flowers overhanging the panels bloom.
The uprights, purlins and curved, are decorated with a beautiful shell and different varieties of flowers in high relief at the level of the entablature and end with a winding and a large acanthus leaf at the foot.
The curved fireplace opening is highlighted by a continuous moulding.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
