This antique Louis XV style fireplace was made during the 19th century out of Blue Turquin marble.
The Pompadour model is the commun fireplace in every Haussmann buildings in Paris. Inspired by the Louis XV style , this type of mantel is characterized by a rond molding on the center of the entablature.
This fireplace is more complex, since it has a curved shelf and jambs also curved topped by high-relief scrolls.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and original three squares marble floor currently broken, beeing restored in our workshops.
