This antique Louis XIV style fireplace was made in the 19th century in Red from the North marble. The fireplace is surmounted by a fluted acroterion adorned at the corners with broad leaves. A Bollection, characteristic of the style, decorates the jambs and the frieze.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert and with its original three squares marble floor.
