This antique Louis XV style fireplace was made in the 19th century in a subtly veined Carrara marble. This is the Pompadour model, in homage to the favorite of King Louis XV, whose it presents the main features: its frieze and tablet are slightly curved, its jambs are canted, and a medallion surrounded by oblong moldings adorns the center of the frieze.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
