This Louis XVI fireplace in Carrara marble was made at the end of the 19th century.
It receives a decor with large acanthus leaves of which details have been sculpted very precisely on the scrolls that are supporting the frieze. On the center of the frieze, there is again a sculped decor of the same plant framed by a paneled decor and on each corner, the square rosette.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
