In very good condition. Light stain on the top.
Antique Louis XVI style fireplace made out of white Carrara marble during the second half of the nineteenth century. This mantel model is said with "rounded corners". Jambs are fluted and decorated with asparagus heads.
The frieze is carved in its center with a large medallion of acanthus leaf.
Sides of the fireplace are decorated with air vents.
This fireplace is sold with an old cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
