In good condition. The frieze has been restored (see pictures). Some stains.
This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrrara marble during the 19th century. The jambs are fluted and are curved at the top. The entablature is carved in the centre with a sunflower medallion. The tops of the entablature are carved with square rosettes. The sides of this fireplace are decorated with air vents.
This fireplace is sold without any marble floor or fireplace insert. These could be made to order.
