This beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. The frieze is carved with intertwined laurel branches and is supported by delicately decorated jambs. Curved at the top, the jambs are fluted and decorated with asparagus heads. The jambs are crowned with carved capitals, which feature acanthus leaves.
A beautiful antique fireplace model.
Both sides of the fireplace are decorated with beautiful air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without a marble floor. A marble floor could be made to order.
