In good condition. Aged patina. Both sides are cracked next to the air vents.
This Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century. It is a model with rounded corners, fluted and filleted pilasters, surmounted by square rosettes. The entablature is decorated with a medallion carved with a sunflower, as well as panels that are repeated on the sides of the fireplace. The ornaments of this fireplace are highlighted by the whiteness of Carrara marble.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
