This Napoleon III style fireplace was made out of a very beautiful Griotte Red marble during the middle of the 19th century. The decoration of the lions' legs is very typical of this eclectic period. The rolled-up jambs are decorated at the top with an acanthus leaf.
This fireplace is sold without any insert or hearth, but they can be made to order.
