This beautiful antique Louis XV style fireplace was made at the early 19th century in Aleppo Breccia marble. The paneled and canted jambs have windings at the top. The frieze they support is decorated with oblong moldings and a large and very elaborate shell. This fireplace with curved lines has imposant dimensions, especially in its width, and a complete cast iron insert, likewise very sophisticated.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert and with its original marble floor.
