This Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century. It is a beautiful model with fine sculptures and paneled sides. The white Carrara marble highlights the sculptures of the entablature and the jambs, ornated by rows of pearls. The entablature is adorned with laurel branches, and the jambs are covered with beautiful acanthus leaves.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
