This very beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century. The carving work is very delicate and of excellent quality. The entablature is carved all over its surface with a frieze of vegetal, acanthus leaves and floral medallions. The jambs, curved towards the top, are decorated with acanthus leaves and carved pearls.
The sides of this fireplace are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert but without the enameled insert and without any curtain. We can manufacture the marble floor to order.
