Beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace from the 19th century with curved frieze featuring pan flute decor in white Carrara marble.
The oak leaves drops down over the top of the scrolled jambs that rise up from end block with two deep grooves on either side of a chain of pearls.
Above, the frieze is richly decorated with Louis XVI patterns: a pan flute surrounded by laurel branches.
On either side high relief square rosettes top the jambs.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
