This small antique fireplace in veined Carrara marble was made in the early 19th century. Of Louis XVI style, the model of this fireplace is both refined and sober. The jambs are represented by fluted and reeded half columns topped with capitals of acanthus leaves. The straight entablature is highlighted by a thin row of pearls.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert and with its original marble floor .
