White marble mantel in the Louis XVI style from the 19th century. The panelled entablature, underlined by friezes of pearls, is adorned in the centre with a garland of flowers ending in ribbons, while foliage blooms on either side of the central decorative element. The ends have two finely carved square rosettes. The slightly scrolled jambs are adorned at the top with large falling acanthus leaves and carved canals decorated with scrolled ribbons typical of the Louis XVI style.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
