This Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century.
Its sober model with fluted pilasters, rodded in the bottom of the jambs, is decorated with beautiful sculptures on the entablature.
The whiteness of the Carrara marble brings out the careful sculpture of the square rosettes adorning the heads on each side, and branches of laurel on the entablature.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert, its shutter, and original three squares marble floor.
