This antique fireplace is very exceptional and rare. Louis XV style, the fireplace was made of Onyx and is decorated with bronze features of high quality. Bronze chiselling is a rare skill. The central shell is made out of bronze, as is the decorative features on the jambs.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert but without any hearth.
