This antique Louis XIV style mantel was made during the 19th century of Campan marble, which came from the quarries of the Campan site in the Hautes-Pyrénées. This marble is relatively rare and very appreciate for its unique decorative qualities. Its decorated with a large bolection, typical of the Louis XIV style, which underlines the opening of the hearth.
This fireplace is sold with an insert , no marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
