This fireplace was made of Medous Breccia in the late 19th century.
Its serpentine entablature is adorned with an important stylized shell and underlined with an oblong moulding. The curved feet are rhythmed with scrolls. Its sculpted decoration is quite simple to contrast with the veins and the different colours of the Medici Breccia.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert but with its marble floor.
