This Louis XV style Pompadour mantelpiece was carved in Enjugerais marble in the 19th century. The lintel is adorned by an oval medallion; the moldings on either side follow the curves of the mantelpiece. The jambs are adorned with right and curved moldings at the top, interrupted in the centre by a molded circle.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and original marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
