This fireplace was made at the end of the 19th century in a veined Carrara marble. Its Louis XVI decor is mainly composed of flutes that we can see on the jambs and on the frieze on entablature slightly prominent from the rest of the mantel. The corners are adorned with a square rose typical of the Louis XVI style on fireplace.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
