This mantel was carved in white Carrara marble in the 19th century. The entablature, decorated with pearl friezes, is adorned with acanthus leaves and rosettes on its ends. It rests on curved jambs decorated with falling acanthus leaves.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
