This Louis XVI style fireplace was made of half statuary marble in the 19th century.
Its straight entablature is adorned on the corners with square roses and on its center with a whirling rose framed by a pearl frieze. the jambs that are supporting it are fluted and adorned with asparagus heads.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
