Very good condition.
19th century mantel in the Louis XVI style. Pilaster fluted jambs rise up to square acanthus rosettes. The entablature frieze centers on an elegantly simple rectangular cartouche adorned with five filleted flutes, flanked by recessed moldings and panels.
Panazeau marble has a grayish beige base, splattered with fine purple veins.
Neither insert, nor marble hearth floor.
