Rare antique Louis XVI style fireplace made of Carrara white marble in the nineteenth century. The frieze, dug with grooves, is decorated in the center with a beautiful sculpture in low relief of vines with bunches of grapes. Very fine and very realistic sculpture.
Tapered legs are fluted and decorated with asparagus heads. The upper part of the legs is also carved with vines.
Both sides of this fireplace are paneled.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
