This exquisite stone fireplace was made during the gothic period and is typical of the big open fireplaces of this period. The dominating jambs are made up of columns with a molded base and are delicately made. The thick lintel is decorated with different types of molding. The centre of the lintel is decorated with a carved element that goes back to the 1970s.
Cast iron fireback is available under reference 9677.
