Patina of the time. A dog in very good condition. The second dog has been formerly restored.
This pair of terracotta bulldogs bears the stamp of Bouat Manufacture, which was located at Castelnaudary in the late 19th century and early 20th century.
This model of dogs was featured in the Bouat catalogue, as shown in the photographs.
Beautiful antique garden ornaments, authentic and with the patina of time past.
