This beautiful and large carved and painted wooden overmantel pierglass was made in the 19th century. Richly carved, it is decorated with a feminine mask and a painting representing an Indian scene. The frame bears the label of the decorator "MARCHAND 15 rue Neuve des Petits Champs Paris".
