Carved wood trumeau painted blue and cream in the Louis XVI style from the 19th century. A frieze of ribbons and a chain of pearls frames a mirror, while above, a second frame surrounds a swag of roses tied in the middle with a ribbon. A cornice of stylized leaves tops the overmantel.
