Elegant trumeau carved and painted wood in the Louis XVI style from the 19th century. The round arched frame classically decorated with a series of square rosettes rests upon a pair of columns with capitals. Other decorative elements include friezes of pearls, egg-and-dart, heart-and-dart, and acanthus leaf spandrels.
