Fine antique Louis XV style overmantel pierglass with gilt frame made in the 19th century.
The upper part is richly decorated with an asymmetrical foliated shell accompanied by garlands of flowers. The upper corners of the pierglass are also decorated with shells.
In the lower part, the lower corners of the pierglass are decorated with applied acanthus leaves.
The mirror is beveled.
