This very beautiful Victorian style fireplace is an English model of the late 19th century.
It is designed in white Statuary marble of Carrara , the most prestigious marble. The purity of the white contrasts advantageously with the thin borders and the diamonds in violet Brocatelle marble.
Its square, refined mantel is animated fine sculptures. The entablature alternates garlands and diamonds. The jambs, with slightly tapering flutes are ornated with diamons in Brocatelle marble marquetry. They are topped by a capital surmounted by Greek vases.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
