This Napoleon III style mantel was made in the second half of the 19th century and associates the Red Griotte marble to the Belgium black marble.
Its straight header is adorned with square roses in the corners and a central slab depicting a decoration of acanthus leaves scrolls. The header is supported by beautiful detached columns with composite capitals.
This fireplace is sold with its original brass insert and with its marble floor.
