Antique Stone Fountain from Provence 18th century

This fountain was carved out of a hard stone called « Mélasse». This fountain is unusual and rare. The fountain was set in a wall. The fountain is decorated with a snake caught by a heron, and the reeds on each side give the atmosphere of a damp corner. The degueuloir is in the shape of lion.
