Antique Napoléon III overmantel embellished with a woman's face

This Napoleon III style overmantel was made in the 19th century in wood and stucco painted in white. On the center, an oval mirror is topped by a woman's face with acanthus and a shell, framed by garlands of fruits. A frieze of leaves and acorn oak surrounds a beveled mirror. Two levels of protrusion are composing the rest of the overmantel, decorated with scrolls and gridlines. The cornice is ornemented by a frieze carved with floral detail

Regence style trumeau with a flowered cartouche

This low regence style trumeau was made in the 19th century. The trumeau with the top curved shows a framing painted in gold composed of a frieze with geometrical motifs and surmounted by a beautiful cartouche from where are escaping garlands of flowers and fruits. This mirror is also set on a painted in white decor reminding of a classical architecture with four fluted pilasters.

Louis XV style trumeau decorated with musical instruments

Made of white painted stucco with gilded mouldings in the Louis XV style, the upper part of this small trumeau is decorated with musical instruments intertwined with branches on which roses bloom. On each side, the pilaster-like uprights are decorated with a flowery garland in the form of a cordon. The mirror is framed by a two tiered gilded moulding, a pearl moulding followed by a border, and is flanked in its two upper corners by small rosettes.

Napoleon III style fireplace in half-statuary marble decorated with a garland

This fireplace is made of white demi-statuaire marble, a light and smooth stone that enhances the sculpted details. It shows a uniform tone, gently softened by fine natural nuances that add depth to the surface. The composition follows a balanced structure. The entablature is restrained, highlighted on the façade by a frieze adorned with a garland of leaves hanging down, held at each end by two rosette flowers. This central ornament, discreet yet precise, reflects the geometric and measured spirit of the period. The jambs, straight with a slight curve at the front, are enriched with carved vegetal drops. These ornaments descend vertically along the uprights, combining finely cut leaves with stylised fruits. Their presence provides a decorative contrast to the rigor of the lines, creating a balance between architectural sobriety and ornamental richness. The fireplace is fitted with a cast iron insert. It features relief decoration composed of floral motifs spreading around the opening. These details, visible in depth, complement the marble with a play of materials and textures.
