These two andirons are crowned with a flower blooming between two leaves with cut edges forming two symmetrical curves. At the base of this branch, two hooks support a horizontal bar, cabled in places and ending at each end in a small flower similar to those on the andirons. The jambs then follow the shape of a screw, then a baluster, whose ornamentation is enhanced by two dolphins with coiled tails. Their heads rest on feet adorned with foliage and scrolls.

This Carrara marble fireplace is in the Louis XVI style, blending motifs from nature with motifs from Ancient Greece. On the band of the fireplace, branches of laurel leaves crisscross in a regular pattern, forming a frieze of geometrical motifs. In the center of the frieze, the branches are tied together with ribbons. The console part of the leg is decorated with acanthus leaves placed vertically like the capital of a Greek column. The rest of the leg represents the shaft of a fluted column. On this fireplace, field flowers are interspersed between the various flutes and the hollows are filled in at the end of the leg. A fine frieze runs around the inside of the fireplace.
